Adjustable discharge screw speed
DUO features a discharge screw with adjustable speed, independent of the scraper disk. This maintains constant line pressure and allows for adaptation to highly contaminated plastic materials according to your production needs.
2 operating modes
DUO can easily switch between scraping and back flushing modes by replacing internal components. This flexibility allows the use of mesh screens for lower contamination, reducing the need for laser screens and cutting production costs.
2 opening systems
DUO filter chamber can be equipped with either manual or automatic opening systems. The manual system is opened by loosening individual bolts, while the automatic system allows for lid opening at the push of a button, reducing operation time to under 2 minutes.
Interchangeable screens
DUO offers interchangeable laser, punched, and metallic mesh screens that provide varying degrees of filtration, from 60 to 2000 microns, depending on material contamination levels.
Custom software settings
DUO software allows to customize and save specific filtration settings. This feature enables quick data recall and parameter adjustments tailored to different production requirements.
Adjustable height
DUO includes height extensions that can be adjusted to fit the characteristics of your recycling line. This feature guarantees seamless integration with different production setups.
Flexible chamber lid opening
The lid of the filter chamber can be configured to open to the right or left. This feature provides flexibility to accommodate various production facility layouts and different workspace arrangements.
Convenient switchboard position
The switchboard can be positioned according to available space, enhancing operational convenience and ensuring easy access to controls and settings. This flexibility allows for a more streamlined and user-friendly workspace.
Connection to any extrusion line
DUO can be connected to any extrusion line using custom-made flanges, ensuring compatibility with a range of production configurations and easy integration into existing setups.
Double flow rate with DUO Twin
DUO machines can be interconnected to form a DUO Twin configuration. This setup doubles the flow rate by utilizing two screen changers operating in parallel and allows for seamless maintenance without interrupting production.
