SCRAPER DISC

superior fluid dynamics

Scraper Disc is a rotating component inside the DUO filtration chamber that cleans the screen surfaces and directs contamination toward the discharge screw.

Generation III Scraper Disc introduces three major recycling plastic innovations, improving the filtration process and simplifying machine operation.

Scraper Disc advantages for plastic recycling

Efficient cleaning at low speed
Its special geometry with six blades enables excellent cleaning even at low rotational speeds. The design prevents filtered contaminants from re‑entering the melt.
Minimum waste through independent drive
The Scraper Disc and the discharge screw operate independently. Their speeds can be adjusted according to the contamination level, reducing material waste.
Processing highly contaminated material
The Scraper Disc continuously removes contamination from the screen surfaces. This helps DUO process materials with high levels of impurities.
Less maintenance
The Scraper Disc can be cleaned in a pyrolytic oven and reused. Only the six blades need to be replaced at each filter change.

Generation III Scraper Disc innovations

Superior fluid dynamics
The new channel geometry improves material flow through the Scraper Disc. This allows highly contaminated material to pass through more easily.
Reduced weight
The reduced weight of the Scraper Disc simplifies handling. This makes filter replacement operations easier and faster.
Lower electrical consumption
The optimized fluid dynamic design reduces the electrical consumption required during operation.
Scraper disc 3 generation

Generation III Scraper Disc is available for DUO series self-cleaning filters.
