Remove low contamination with DUO back-flushing mode

DUO filters lightly contaminated plastic in back-flushing mode, reducing both maintenance and the cost of laser or punched screens.ASK US ABOUT DUO

For lightly contaminated plastic streams, DUO eliminates the need for components like laser or punched screens. In back-flushing mode, it operates using metallic mesh screens and an internal cleaner, reducing wear, maintenance, and overall operating costs. Here is how it works:

STEP 1 The melt passes through 2 metal mesh screens
STEP 1
The melt passes through 2 metal mesh screens

The melted plastic is directed through two opposing metal mesh screens, positioned between a set of supporting and protective breakers.

STEP 2 The cleaner collects contaminants from the mesh

The cleaner collects contaminants from the mesh

At the center of the system is the cleaner, which gathers contamination settled on the mesh surface and draws it toward its core.

STEP 3 Contaminants are expelled by the discharge screw

Contaminants are expelled by the discharge screw

The cleaner is connected to an independent discharge screw that automatically removes the collected impurities from the machine.

STEP 4 Clean melt is directed to the outlet

The filtered plastic is reunited in the outlet channel, where the clean melt is directed toward the next stage of processing.
