FILTERS
reduce costs through long life & reusability
Filters are key elements in the filtration process, removing impurities from plastic materials to meet the required filtration level.
A wide range of interchangeable filters makes it possible to process materials with different degrees of contamination and achieve the desired final product quality.

Filter advantages for plastic recycling
Resistance and reusability
Laser and Punched Filters are treated to withstand wear and high temperatures. They can be cleaned in a pyrolytic oven and reused several times.
Reduced consumable costs
The possibility of cleaning and reusing Laser and Punched Filters reduces the need to purchase new consumables.
Long Filter life
Filter life depends on the processed material and the type of impurities. Punched Filters can last up to one week, while laser filters can last up to two weeks.
Customised Laser Filters
Break Machinery produces laser-perforated Filters in-house. This makes it possible to customise filters following studies and measurements carried out on a model supplied by the customer.
Filter types
Laser Filter

Laser Filters are used for finer filtration, from 60 µm to 350 µm
Punched Filter

Punched Filters are used for coarser filtration, from 400 to 2000 µm
Metallic Mesh Filter

Metal Mesh Filters are used for lightly contaminated materials, from 230 to 10 mesh
